HANGZHOU, China /September 3, 2014—Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China introduced two new vari-focal HDCVI cameras —- 720p IR box camera HAC-HFW1100R-VF and IR dome HAC-HDBW1100R-VF, which further completes its HDCVI portfolio.

These two vari-focal HDCVI cameras output clear and crisp images 25/30 frame per second at 720p, and their focal length reaches 2.7-12mm, allowing a more flexible monitoring view, which means, one single camera can be adjusted for different target area based on users’ needs, and it only takes three steps to get focus-adjusting done: first, open the cover; second, loose, rotate and fasten the screws inside, and third, put the cover back; this super ease-of-use is quite favored among small-to-medium scaled application owners who, for example, run retail stores, SOHO, hotel or manage a school or an organization, asking for high definition image quality while having a budget concern.

Meanwhile, the camera’s IR distance is up to 30 meters, providing excellent night monitoring performance thanks to smart IR algorithm, which features non-LDR (light-dependent resistor) technology, enabling an intellectual algorithm to detect more accurate timing of ICR filer switching on/off as well as to adjust the IR LEDs current for better visual effect under low-light scenarios. What’s more, the three-axis bracket design of box camera HAC-HFW1100R-VF makes the camera 360-degree rotatable, allowing no dead angles monitoring. Its IP66 rating can protect cameras against water and dust, and the IK10 rated dome can withstand vicious sabotage.

"HDCVI is picking up very promisingly and customers start to expect more,” said John Li, HDCVI Product Manager at Dahua Technology. “We take customers’ requests into consideration, and integrate convenience and ease-of-use together; meanwhile, designers follow ‘Bauhaus” to make the product simple and sleek, which is very pleasing outside.”

"As is known, HDcctv Alliance launched analog HD standard ‘AT2.0’ on HDCVI basis, ensuring 100% plug ‘n’ play remote control of any camera from any compliant DVR,” said Li. "AT2.0 is open and interpretable, collaborating with partners in the HDcctv Alliance to jointly accelerate the global migration to HD. We will further refine and complete the product line to 2k and 4k in the coming version.”
